Glass Panels from the Excelsior Café
The stained glass windows of the Excelsior Café added to the elegant atmosphere.
The café and inn's doors are now closed. The building will be razed and a housing complex will be built on the site.
The featured panel below is one that many will remember. The owner is retaining this panel, but the panels listed further down the page are all for sale.
The panels listed below feature textured glass, which plays a role in how the glass "interprets" light.
Photographed at the café, these windows had, on the outside of the panel, wood-divided panes of exterior glass and spotlights at the top to illuminate them.
The panels have now been removed from their setting and stand alone in their original frames and are evenly illuminated in natural light.
Sizes and price are listed. Tap/click on any panel for a larger image.

This panel is most likely from the early days of the building when it was a fraternity house.
It is in a stained wooden frame. This is a good-sized panel. I'm guessing around 60" wide x 48" tall, but check with the owner directly to get accurate dimensions and for a price quote.
